Why was the guest house built?
One major driving factor was to find alternative sources of income for Ban Rom Sai, so it would not forever be dependent on donations and the generosity of others. Built thanks to generous donations from Japanese patrons, all proceeds of overnight stays by guests go toward supporting Ban Rom Sai.

The guest house is a wonderful venture for the orphanage in this respect and we have already been lucky to welcome many guests. The Hoshihana Village Guest House also provides opportunities for the children at Ban Rom Sai. It will be used as a training ground for those interested in entering the hospitality and tourism business, thus giving these children an opportunity to learn a trade. For the long-term, the guest house will also provide employment opportunities for those children, who will be unable to earn a living outside the orphanage and will allow them to earn a living without having to leave Ban Rom Sai.
Hoshihana Village Guest House
On a 10,000 square meter lot, adjacent from Ban Rom Sai, are four uniquely designed cottages, which make up the Hoshihana Village Guest House. The guest house is completely separate from Bam Rom Sai and for those interested, special visits to the orphanage can be arranged.

The guest house offers a getaway to a quiet rural part of Chiang Mai, perfect for those wanting a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Guests can wake up to the chirping of birds and the wonderful fruity smells wafting from the orchard. A morning swim, in the outdoor pool, or a round in the herbal sauna is a great way to start or end a day !
